Swipe Gestures
Todoodah uses swipe gestures on touch devices to let you act on todos quickly without opening menus.
Swipe right to complete
Swipe a todo to the right to complete it. As you swipe, the background transitions through a green highlight:
- A green highlight builds as you swipe
- A checkmark icon appears and you feel a haptic vibration once you've swiped far enough — release to complete
- Changed your mind? Swipe back before releasing to cancel
Swipe left for actions
Swipe a todo to the left to reveal a row of action buttons:
| Button | Action |
|---|---|
| More | Opens the full three-dot menu |
| Move | Opens the list picker to move the todo |
| Delete | Permanently deletes the todo |
Swipe far enough and the buttons snap into view. Tap any button to perform its action, or swipe back to dismiss.
Sound and haptics
Swiping plays subtle tick sounds as you drag, and a haptic vibration lets you know when you've swiped far enough. Both can be toggled in sound settings.
