Color Palettes
Every list in Todoodah can have its own color palette, giving each list a unique visual identity.
The Resurrect 64 palette
Todoodah uses the Resurrect 64 color palette — a curated set of 64 colors displayed in an 8x8 grid. These colors are chosen to work well together in any combination, so you can pick freely without worrying about clashing.
Single color
Select one color from the palette to apply a solid color to your list. The color is used according to the active color mode — as a border, full card background, or text accent.
Dual-color gradients
Select two colors to create a gradient. Todoodah interpolates the gradient across all todos in the list, so the first todo uses the first color, the last todo uses the second, and everything in between transitions smoothly.
Per-list colors
Each list has its own color settings: the selected palette, the color mode, the background color, and the text color. The header controls automatically adapt to your chosen background color for clear visibility. Color changes sync to all collaborators in real time, so everyone sees the same look.
Tips
- Try pairing a warm and cool color for a striking gradient effect.
- New lists are created with a randomly assigned palette — change it at any time from the list settings.
