Card Aging
Card aging makes neglected todos visibly age, so the items you've been putting off stand out from the ones you're actively working on. It's off by default and can be turned on per list.
Turning it on
Open the list settings and find the Aging row. Choose how long it takes a todo to fully age: 1 week, 1 month, 3 months, or 1 year. The preview updates live so you can see the effect before saving.
Aging styles
Once aging is on, an Aging style row appears:

| Fade | Todos gradually fade the longer they go untouched |
| Ancient scroll | Todos deteriorate like old paper — edges tear away, cards tilt slightly, and cracks appear as they get older |
| Both | Fading and deterioration combined |
Every todo tears in its own unique pattern, so an aged list looks naturally weathered rather than uniform.
How todos stay fresh
- A todo's age is measured from the last time its text was edited — renaming a todo makes it look brand new again
- Completed todos never age
- Checking a todo off and reinstating it does not reset its age
Where it applies
Aging is a per-list setting, like color palettes and color modes, and it works with every color mode. People viewing the list through a public share link see the aging effect too.
