Account Management
Manage your Todoodah account from the account settings page. You can update your profile, manage login methods, export your data, or delete your account.
Login methods
You can sign in with email and password, Google, or both. The login methods section in account settings shows which methods are active on your account.
- Add Google — connect your Google account for one-tap sign-in
- Set password — if you signed up with Google, you can add a password to also sign in with email
- Remove a method — you can remove a login method as long as at least one other method remains
Change your name
Your display name is shown to collaborators on shared lists. Update it at any time from account settings.
Change your email
Update the email address associated with your account. This is the address used for login and for receiving list invitations.
Change your password
Your password must meet the following requirements:
- Minimum 8 characters
- At least one number or special character
You will need to enter your current password to set a new one.
Export your data
You can export all of your data as a JSON file. The export includes your profile information, all lists you own, and all todos within those lists. This is useful for backups or if you want to move your data elsewhere.
Delete your account
Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. To confirm, you must type the word "delete" in the confirmation field.
Before deleting, be aware:
- All lists you own will be permanently deleted
- Shared lists you own will be removed for all members — they will lose access immediately
- Lists shared with you (owned by others) will continue to exist, but you will be removed as a member
- This action cannot be reversed
Consider exporting your data before deleting your account.
