Editing & Deleting

Every todo can be edited, renamed, deleted, duplicated, or moved to a different list.

Inline editing

Tap or click a todo's text to enter inline edit mode. The text becomes editable right where it is. Make your changes, then press Enter to save. Press Escape to cancel and discard changes.

The three-dot menu

Each todo has a three-dot menu icon that opens a list of actions:

Rename

Opens the todo in edit mode with all text selected, making it easy to replace the entire name quickly.

Delete

Permanently removes the todo. The delete option is styled in red as a warning. This action cannot be undone, so use it deliberately.

Duplicate

Creates an exact copy of the todo and places it at the end of the active list. Useful when you have similar tasks to track.

Move to

Opens a list picker showing all your other lists. Select a destination to move the todo there. The todo is removed from the current list and added to the target list instantly.

Tips

• You can also access delete and move via left-swipe gestures.
• Duplicated todos do not inherit the completed state — they are always added as active todos.
