The most satisfying gesture in Todoodah. Swipe a todo to the right and it's done. A green highlight sweeps across the card as you swipe, giving you clear visual feedback. Let go and the item slides away with a gentle haptic tap confirming the action.

It's the kind of interaction that makes checking things off feel genuinely rewarding. Quick, tactile, and just a little bit addictive.

Swipe left for actions

Swiping left reveals three action buttons that slide into view behind the card:

• More — open additional options like editing the item text or changing its details
• Move to — quickly transfer the item to a different list without opening any menus
• Delete — remove the item entirely with a confirmation step to prevent accidents

The buttons stay tucked away until you need them, keeping the interface clean while keeping powerful actions one swipe away.

Sound and feel

Todoodah plays subtle swipe sounds as your finger moves across the card. Soft ticks provide audio feedback that matches your gesture speed. It's a small detail that makes the whole experience feel polished and intentional.

Combined with haptic feedback on supported devices, every swipe has a physical quality that makes managing your todos feel less like tapping a screen and more like handling real objects.

Smart snap behavior

When you swipe left far enough, the action buttons lock open. This means you can swipe once to reveal the buttons, then take your time deciding which action to take. Tap anywhere else on the screen to snap the card back to its resting position.

Everything is carefully tuned so that casual touches don't accidentally trigger actions, but deliberate swipes feel immediate and responsive.

Every touch target, animation, and gesture in Todoodah has been designed for fingers first. The swipe system doesn't fight with scrolling, handles edge cases like multi-touch gracefully, and works consistently across phones and tablets. It's the kind of polish you usually only find in native apps.
